Minneapolis

I came here to look for a student, my first student, who got out of prison a year ago. Finding a Hmong in St. Paul is not much different than finding a Swede, except the Swedes have more names, thus fewer people with the same names. No luck there.

But I reconnected with old friends, people who I hadn't seen in nearly a decade. It was lesson in change and the same. It got humid and hot and alas, no tornadoes.
